MRPS is a 100% volunteer organization.
Our people are of every age, profession, and experience level. Everyone is welcome to contribute their current skills as well as to learn new ones.
All we ask is that you share our passion for railroading, be safe, be willing to lend a hand, and, if you come down to work at the Roundhouse, not be afraid of getting dirty sometimes.

Fund Raising
Open Houses
Excursions
Locomotive and Train Car Restoration
Support Vehicle Maintenance
Building and Ground Maintenance
Volunteer hours may be served at home, at the Roundhouse, on excursions or elsewhere depending on the member's preference. Dues are as follows:
Regular membership: $25 per person, per year
Senior Membership (55+): $20 per person per year
Benefactor Membership: $100 or more
